Our client one of the leading suppliers of home electrical appliances manufacturer is currently seeking to fill the above position in Nairobi
Responsibilities
Ensuring sales and market share targets are met
Have full product knowledge of assigned product categories
Train the sales team as well as the dealers and salesmen in the market
Ensuring sales strategies are in place to ensure sales growth targets are hit
Ensuring availability of spare parts via communication with suppliers
Analyze market data for all these products – generate and present reports on the same
Maintaining and enhance relationships with dealers
Keeping updated on all competitor information
Forecasting quantities for the assigned categories and ensure projections are up to date
Continuously evaluate and enhance the product line up
Implementing sales promotions and marketing activities based on approved marketing plan
Any other duties as may be assigned by superior
Qualifications
Over 7 years’ experience in sales
Previous experience in a product management role is an added advantage
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
Excellent leadership skills
Organizational, research and time-management skills
Technology savvy
Business acumen
