Cellulant* is a digital payments business. We are building an ecosystem of consumers, merchants and banks in which we facilitate payments and build value through the value-added services we layer on top. In building this ecosystem we serve different types of customers with different products; including mobile banking, mobile payment and mobile credit products. We are currently serving merchants, banks and mobile network operators across 10 countries.

Product Manager.
You will be responsible for Increasing the marketability and profitability of existing products; and developing new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the product vision (including the product roadmap) and owning the product lifecycle, working with and motivating cross-functional teams in a lean start-up environment;
• You will be focused on maximizing business value from your product(s) and should be obsessed with optimizing a product to achieve the business goals of the company while maximizing return on investment.
• You will be the voice of the customer user inside the business and must be passionate about the user experience.
• You will work with the development team on a daily basis to drive the delivery of your product(s).
You must be passionate about building and evangelizing products.
You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer problems and business opportunities, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.
You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with product design and engineering counterparts to define product release requirements and roadmaps, and will be accountable for the timely delivery of product positioning, sales and marketing collateral.
You will work with colleagues to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, working with the sales channel and key customers.
A product manager’s role is both strategic and tactical. You will support the organization’s business development and sales strategy and you will manage the timely delivery of your products to market.
Responsibilities:
• Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and evaluating competitors’ product offerings
• Driving product approval process within the company and solution development with development teams (primarily Development/Engineering)
• Develop product sales and marketing collateral
• Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
• Analyzing and engaging with potential partner/channel relationships for the products

Required skills:
• A Leader: Be able to build excitement, and motivate people to support your agenda, even if they are not working directly for you
• Sales-proficient: Experience in selling new concepts and products, both internally to get the organization excited, and externally to clients
• Analytical: The market changes quickly, if it changes too much, you´ll need to lead the pivot that alters our approach to the problem
• Communicative: Is it crucial to communicate well at different levels in the organization
• Product-Passionate: An interest in product, and in moving closer step by step to an ambitious vision
• Flexible: and able to work on various products and clients at the same time while not dropping balls. The nature of the business means a lot changes fast, and it is crucial to maintain the pace towards the long-term once this happens
