Qualification Required: Diploma in Community Oral Health; 3 years and above work experiences in a busy facility; good communication skills; registered with relevant professional body, strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Ensure that the department is clean and all necessary medical record books, registers, files, equipments and machines (includes computer system) are taken care of well and in good working condition.
Be committed and ensure that professional medical ethics is practiced at all times and team work spirit promoted.
Ensure that all dental unit requests are paid for and recorded accordingly and an accurate clear record of all services offered or done is accounted for.
Report on timely basis all the breakages and explain the cause in writing to the administrator.
Ensure that dental services are provided on timely basis and in professional manner and observing confidentiality.
Carry out clinical diagnosis and management of dental patient’s problem, be fair, respectful and observe high level of honesty and integrity in your work.
Perform dental procedures as required in the department and documented in the health information system -computer program at all times.
Conduct dental health education to patients and outreach program activities.
Be part of the integrated outreach service team going to the community to provide dental services.
Ensure that all the equipments, machine and other accessories are in good working condition. Monthly inventory of all equipments, machine and other materials done with the Departmental Head.
Undertake any other assignment given to you by the Supervisor.
