Overall Purpose of Internship
The main objective of this role is to support InterHealth’s Business Development team, in building InterHealth’s profile across the region, particularly amongst the humanitarian, development and mission sectors. The role will involve an active participation in social media and the development of marketing tools.

Summary of main responsibilities and tasks
Design
§ Design flyers for upcoming trainings and events
§ To organize InterHealth’s internal knowledge management & inform staff
§ Proof reading of marketing materials
§ Design promotional materials for InterHealth services
§ Work with suppliers to ensure delivery of high quality materials and adherence to InterHealth brand guidelines.
Social Media
§ Actively keep LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook up to date
§ Respond to any queries on social media
§ Develop social media messages for InterHealth audiences.
§ Promote InterHealth services, information and products through social media.
§ Promotion of social media within InterHealth team & how to use when at events
Communication
§ Internal communication with colleagues regarding new client developments.
§ To internally promote the update and use of SLACK.
§ Share information & news with clients.
§ Write articles to be shared with clients to promote services and training.
§ Communicate effectively the services of InterHealth Worldwide to clients.
§ Share innovate new ways of reaching clients.
Person Specification
1. You will have Working Knowledge on Adobe InDesign and other design software.
2. You will have a presence in social media, appreciate its potential and keen to learn how to professionally use the platform for market.
3. You will be passionate about making a difference in the charity sector and will be able to commit and adapt to an organisation which is value driven according to our mission. You will preferably have experience in, or demonstrated commitment to, the charity sector.
4. You will demonstrate flexibility in thinking, approaching problems and managing workloads, understanding the pressures of both colleagues and clients
5. You will be a quick learner and have the capabilities of working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Had you joined the InterHealth team last week, here are some of the projects you would have participated in, include:
• Co-developing an information flyer for an upcoming event for volunteers.
• Proof reading of training newsletter.
• Participated in team meetings such as business development meeting.
• Shared constructive feedback on a draft PowerPoint presentation to communicate InterHealth services for potential clients.
• Active on twitter, facebook and Linkedin promoting upcoming training, sharing health alerts and information.
