Key Responsibilities
Provide evidence during investigations through exhibits and video footage during disciplinary cases /hearing at the university.
Advising management where necessary (through the Head of Security and the Head of Section ) on a wide range of security-related events, specific to the organization and its various operations which impact on the safety of university personnel/property
Perform supervisory and shift duties under a Head of Section.
Perform any other duties as directed from time to time.
Minimum Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience
Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, Police Science or any social science (OR a diploma in lieu of the above in a security-related discipline or social science) from an accredited university.
K.C.S.E grade C+ (plus) or equivalent.
Have served for a period of five (5) years in the disciplined forces or held a supervisory role in (a) recognized security firm(s).
Those with training on CCTV have an added advantage.

Basic closed circuit television skills.
Basics recording devices skills.
Public order management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Report writing skills
Advanced security (in the field) skills
Basic investigations
Basic technical support skills.
Tactical training skills
Must be computer literate.
Leadership ,administration and management skills
Basic driving skills.
