Key Functions:
Promotes / sells / secures orders from new customers through relationship based sales approach.
Demonstrates products to existing and potential customers and assists with customer service functions.
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business.
Makes appointments to show product.
Communicates to the company all account information weekly.
Develops clear communication of any outside line product development opportunities with the company.
Stay abreast of product/fashion trends, market conditions , competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends by his/her own observances and the information supplied by the company.
Produces competitive analysis when requested.
Participates in trade show, conventions and meetings when needed.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned territory.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of fashion , accessory , textiles and apparel industry.
Knowledge of “how to sell” to wholesalers, boutiques and chain stores and retailers etc.
Be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Current/former customers’ recommendation is a big plus.
Non-disclosure agreement will need to be signed.
As an Independent Sales Rep, you set your own hours and are compensated based on your sales plus monthly stipend for travel & sales related expenses.
