Retail Store Sales Assistant – Nairobi – Corporate Staffing Services

Our client is a leading up market retail store. They seek to hire a sales assistant who will ensure that all customers have an enjoyable and memorable shopping experience.

Preferable candidates include those with experience in retail of perfumes & cosmetics, jewellery and watches, sunglasses, fashion accessories, leather goods, bags, toys for kids, etc. They also need to be able to work at the tills.

Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome and assist customers around the store, helping them find whatever they’re looking for.
Answer customers’ questions about the products on the shelves.
Operate the tills and oversee the self-service check-out areas.
Work with fellow staff to keep the store clean and tidy.
Ensure the shelves are well stocked and that items are always attractively displayed.
Conduct in store promotion.
Placing orders for products.
Collecting payment for items sold.

Requirements
Preferably Ladies
Diploma Level
Proficiency in MS Office
Good interpersonal Skills
Organizational skills
Good Communication Skills i.e. well written and spoken English
Excellent grooming (Up market Standards)
2 years experience in a similar field
