Job Description: Creating avenues for efficient distribution of company products and growth of the company through realization of set weekly, monthly, bi-annual and annual sales targets.
Job Purpose: Distribute the company’s products, research and develop market opportunities, and implement company sales and marketing plans.
Duties
Meet the set revenue targets on a weekly, monthly, bi-annual and annual basis.
Implementing the sales and marketing strategy for the company
Achieve Sales and marketing operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to enable strategic plans and reviews on a regular basis.
Monitor the competition and keep the company abreast of all the new products and services being introduced into the market for purposes of enabling the company stay ahead of the completion in the wellness industry.
Attend sales and marketing departmental meetings and other strategic planning activities organized by the Directors.
Identify marketing activities and opportunities that will present the company with avenues of building its Brand and enhancing its image to the target market.
Analyze variances together with the sales and marketing manager and implement all corrective actions to meet all forecasted requirements;
Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by implementing trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
Identify market opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; define competitor’s market share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses
Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improve product packaging; facilitate new product development.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends from the market.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong background in Sales, preferably in the Medical and Insurance sector. (Medical Insurance experience is an added advantage.
Minimum of 1 year in a Sales position with a proven track record of meeting monthly targets on a regular basis.
Must be able to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays where necessary and should work well with minimal supervision.
Should be a highly motivated individual with the ability to identify and take advantage of Sales and Marketing opportunities whenever they present themselves.
Remuneration
This will be by commissions paid out on a month to month basis.
