Duties
Manage products sales and inquiries from assigned international sales territories.
Identify, target and penetrate large global accounts through direct sales.
Develop distinguished; individualize business and marketing plan for each country and account.
Deploy sales growth strategies determined by the sales executive management and team.
Research and identify market product data, industry trends and competitor information for development of new strategies.
Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
Work with existing clients on new products or changes to current products.
Coordinate with Group’s Sales Manager and Manager for Africa to pre-qualify leads and create strategies for key acquisition targets.
Ensure sales, product marketing and business development tactics and processes meet compliance of each country.
Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
Make sales calls to new and existing clients
Develop sales proposals
Prepare and present sales contracts
Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
Customer service satisfaction and good client relationships follow up on sales activity
Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
Filter market intelligence to identify opportunities or threats that could affect sales in the relevant markets and report on these
Participate in sales events
Requirements
At least 7 years’ experience in sales and a proven record
Knowledge of the media service products (editorial, advertising) and relevance thereof to the business world
Agency exposure is highly preferred.
Prior Market intelligence and market research knowledge is highly preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
