Job Description
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.
Service existing Customers, obtain orders, and acquire new customers by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on current or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Maintain excellent Customer Service satisfaction and good client relationships must be nurtured after each sale.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports for instance, Weekly Sales reports of both new and old customers.
Recommend change in products and service delivery techniques by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolve customer complaints and inquiries by investigating problems, developing solutions; preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
Customer queries and complaints must be responded to via phone, electronically or in person.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and keeping in the know as to current Sales Trends as well as establishing personal networks as this will also assist in boosting sales.
Contribute to Team Effort by accomplishing related results as needed; that is, by meeting set targets and Sales Goals.
Territory Management: Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
Skills and Qualifications Needed
Must be above 18 years old
Have a National ID and PIN
O Levels with a minimum grade C
Must be Hardworking and Self Motivated and Self confident
Computer Literate
Prior Sales Experience in general and or in Fast Moving Consumer Goods is an added advantage.
Have a Mobile Phone
Must know Nairobi well
