Transport / Logistics Supervisor – Sportpesa

Responsibilities
Supervise a pool of riders, loaders and drivers for efficient service delivery
Coordinate the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of company fleet to ensure road worthiness at all times
Coordinate the fueling and monitor the fuel consumption of company fleet, escalate any matters arising.
Coordinate the vehicle licensure acquisition and timely renewal
Handle all logistical issues in relation to vehicle movement
Assist in customs clearance for the company’s imports
Coordinate and plan of all transport logistics for company related events
Allocate vehicle movement to ensure efficient and timely service delivery
Coordinate with the marketing/operations team to ensure smooth execution of events logistics
Liaise with subcontracted transport (where necessary) to ensure delivery of service as per agreed terms
Develop work procedures in the transport/logistics department
Proper records management – costs, repairs, drivers’ shifts, licenses, and customs

Qualifications
Relevant Business degree,
2-3 years’ experience in a transport/logistics department
Valid driving license
Strong communication and supervisory skills
Highly flexible

Work conditions: Frequent travel within the country
